Abstract

The culti vated groundnut is an important oi Iseed crop of the world. Several biotic stresses reduce groundnut yields considerably. Culti va tion of resistant varieties is an ecologically sound and economically viable approach. But the occurrence and intensity of these stresses vary in space and time necessitating the use of multiple stress resistant genotypes.
