Abstract
On-farm research is the vital link between the experiment station and the farmer and is an important step in the process of developing improved relevant farm practices. On-farm research is a multidisciplinary process, directed at problem-solving field experimentation. Through each farm situation is unique in itself, similar factors, farms and regions can be grouped into operational areas and practices can be tested for dissemination to analogous systems and situation.
