Abstract
The selected sorghum lines from the previous growing cycle (64 R-lines, 87 B-lines, and 12 forage lines) were evaluated with 3 replications at 3 different sites_ Quilichao (CIAT); La Libertad (CORPOICA) and Carimagrea(CIAT/CORPOICA), during September -December 1996 and results reported. In addition, pearl millet lines introduced from India (21 R-lines, 11 A/B line pairs and 30 populations) were also evaluated and a total of 2 R-lines, 4 A/B pairs and 13 populations were selected. These lines and populationswere supposed to be evaluated during the first semester of 1997, along with the selected forage sorghum lines
