Abstract

Public-private partnership as a strategy in research and development (R and D) is gaining popularity among international agricultural research centers (IARCs). According to a preliminary report, constructive partnerships exist because of common interests despite differing incentives. Crafting a relationship is a function of the extent to which the partners utilise their comparative advantages.
