It has a 100-seed weight of 26.6 g, and produced a seed yield of 2.3 t/ha at the ICRISAT Centre under rainfed conditions. Its seed protein content (19.5%), biological value (83.7%), true digestibility (85.9%) net protein utilization (72.0%) and utilizable protein (13.1%) are similar to or better than those of Annigeri.
