Abstract
Sorghum is the main food crop of the region north of Nigeria, although much of the genetic variability of sorghum have been collected in Nigeria, very few types Kaur, FARA FARA-and guineense are currently available in the collection World ICRISAT: Following an urgent demand from sorghum breeders, a specific collection of these types has been initiated.
