Abstract

In a field with boron-deficient soil in 1994/95 in Nepal, chickpeas cv. Kalika were given no fertilizers, complete fertilizer (P, K, S, B, Zn, Mo, Cu, Mn and Fe) or the complete fertilizer minus each of the trace elements. Flower abortion was the highest and no seed was produced in the treatment given no B.
