    Abstract

    Seed samples of 3 wild perennial Cicer species were collected from 5 poorly accessible areas of the northern mountains (2450-3850 m altitude) of Pakistan during a joint expedition (July-September 1992) organised by the Pakistan Agricultural Council and ICRISAT. Species involved were C. microphyllum, C. nuristanicum and C. macranthum, the last 2 being collected for the first time.
