Abstract
The Center of Excellence in Genomics (CEG) at ICRISAT, while working with partners from around the world, has achieved a unique milestone in assembling draft genomes and large-scale re-sequencing of several important crops. CEG has also been at the forefront in genome sequence analysis and utilizing this information in crop improvement. ICRISAT is building on the work done by CEG as we embark with partners on a ‘Systems Biology’ framework to work across diverse disciplines to achieve nutritional security in service of realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)...
