    Abstract

    Most of the sugarcane cultivars grown in this region of Andhra Pradesh are susceptible to sugarcane mosaic potyvirus B. In inoculation tests on 32 spp. and varieties of Gramineae, all except 4 spp. became infected. No symptoms appeared on inoculated plants in the Leguminosae, Solanaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Violaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Caryophyllaceae.
