Abstract

Information is presented on 8 characters of 24 pigeon pea [Cajanus cajan] lines (designated ICPL) with combined resistance to wilt [Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. ciceris] and pigeonpea sterility mosaic virus developed at ICRISAT Asia Center. Resistance was transferred from the medium and long-duration varieties ICP7035, ICP7220, ICP7867, ICP8862 and ICP11304, and the short-duration varieties ICPL267, ICPL87, ICPL179, ICPL94, ICPL151, ICPL186 and ICPL288 to breed these short and extra-short duration lines.
