Millspaugh] hybrids ispublished: pub subjects: cr1 subjects: s1.2 subjects: s355 divisions: CRPS2 full_text_status: restricted keywords: Hybrid pigeonpea technology, Pigeonpea, Cytoplasmic nuclear male-sterility, Yield potential; Hybrid technology abstract: Hybrid pigeonpea technology, based on cytoplasmic nuclear male-sterility was developed at International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT); 20 CMS-based hybrids along with two standard checks, Asha and Maruti were sown for study of yield potential. Among the hybrids, Seed yield (kg ha-1) was maximum in ICPA 2047 × ICPL 20126 (2635.36 kg ha-1). Out of 22 genotypes, seven hybrids were showed significantly high Seed yield (kg ha-1) over best check Asha (1636.30 kg ha-1) and general mean (2095.91 kg ha-1) both. The range of seed yield (kg ha-1) varies from 1381.99 kg ha-1 (Maruti) to 2635.36 kg ha-1 (ICPA 2047 × ICPL 20126). date: 2017 date_type: published publication: Environment and Ecology volume: 35 number: 1 publisher: MKK Publication pagerange: 73-77 refereed: TRUE issn: 0970-0420 official_url: http://www.environmentandecology.com/ related_url_url: https://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?hl=en&q=Yield+potential+of+CGMS+based+pigeonpea+%5BCajanus+cajan+%28L.%29+Millspaugh%5D+hybrids&btnG= related_url_type: pub citation: Kumar, Sudhir and Singh, P K and Sameer Kumar, C V and Patil, R and Sultana, R and Saxena, K B (2017) Yield potential of CGMS based pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.)
