%X The distribution, collection, morphology and cytology ofSorghum nitidum (Vah1) Pers. belonging to the sectionParasorghum of genusSorghum are presented. The species collected in the western ghats of Tamil Nadu and Kerala has 10 normal (A) chromosomes (2n=10) and 3 supernumerary (B) chromosomes, which are reported for the first time in Indian collections.
