        abstract = {Sixty-one accessions of wild species, representing five sections of the genus Arachis, were tested under field and laboratory conditions for reaction to peanut rust (Puccinia arachidis). Most of them were immune, six were highly resistant, and two were susceptible to the pathogen. Immunity to peanut rust occurred in all sections, but susceptibility occurred in only one of the five sections represented and in one species of a section of unknown affinity in the genus.}
