Databases have become an integral part of all aspects of science research, including basic and\r\napplied plant and animal sciences.The importance of databases keeps increasing as the volume of datasets from direct and indirect\r\ngenomics, as well as other omics approaches, keeps expanding in recent years.The databases and associated web portals provide at\r\na minimum a uniform set of tools and automated analysis across a wide range of crop plant genomes.
