Subramanian for his interest in this investigation. abstract: Total soluble sugars and their composition were analyzed in five endosperm types of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor). Total sugar values were highest (2.47-3.41%) in the sugary and high-lysine types and intermediate (1.79-2.03%) in the vani and basmati types. The glucose + fructose fraction predominated in the sugary and high-lysine types, whereas sucrose was the major component in the two vani types date: 1985 date_type: submitted publication: Cereal Chemistry volume: 62 number: 2 publisher: American Association of Cereal Chemists pagerange: 150-152 refereed: TRUE issn: 0009-0352 official_url: http://www.aaccnet.org/publications/cc/backissues/1985/Pages/default.aspx related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Soluble+sugars+in+five+endosperm+types+of+sorghum&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5 related_url_type: pub citation: Murty, D S and Singh, U and Suryaprakash, S and Nicodemus, K D (1985) Soluble sugars in five endosperm types of sorghum.
