ICRISAT, Patancheru, Hyderabad, to study (i) relative mid-parent heterosis,&#13;
heterobeltirosis, and standard heterosis in medium duration disease resistant pigeonpea&#13;
hybrids, (ii) inbreeding depression from F1 to F2 generations for important economic&#13;
traits, and (iii) genetics of fertility restoration. A total of 22 hybrids were synthesized by&#13;
hand pollinating five CMS-lines with 14 restorers during 2009 kharif season. The F1&#13;
