In the course of the study, it was observed that farmers used various types of animal manures--pig, sheep, goat, cattle, donkey, chicken--in their Nelda. As a management practice with potentially important effects on productivity, manure use seemed to warrant a more detailed analysis. date: 1980 date_type: published publisher: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics place_of_pub: Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India pages: 20 institution: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Manure+use+in+two+villages+of+central+upper+volta&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5 related_url_type: pub projects: ICRISAT West Africa Economics Program citation: Bonkian, A (1980) Manure use in two villages of central upper Volta.
