	bibo:abstract "In order to estimate minted crop production budgets under farmers' \r\nconditions in central Upper Volta, the ICRISAT West Africa Economics \r\nProgram undertook a farm-management study in 1980 at Nakamtenga and \r\nNabitenga, two villages 35 kilometers (km) northeast of Ouagadougou \r\n(see Matlon 1980a and Matlon 1980b for a description of the general\r\nobjectives of the study). In the course of the study, it was observed \r\nthat farmers used various types of animal manures--pig, sheep, goat, \r\ncattle, donkey, chicken--in their Nelda.
