Considering this fact and to enhance the production and productivity of pigeonpea, a project, “Development of hybrid pigeonpea technology suitable for Rajasthan” was initiated by ICRISAT in collaboration with SKRAU, Bikaner, with funding from Rajasthan State Government in 2012.
