The matrix mode of&#13;
organization, with the four regions on the horizontal axis and the seven&#13;
divisions on the vertical axis has been implemented from 1 Jan 1994. The&#13;
22 research projects, which are the basic units of this organization, have&#13;
been finalized and approved by the Research Planning and Review&#13;
Committee (RPRC). Project team leaders have been nominated, and&#13;
sharing of activities by the team members among different projects&#13;
