Millsp.] hybrids were evaluated to study the nature and magnitude of relationship of important agronomic traits with seed yield along with their direct and indirect effects in determining yield. The results showed that days to flower, number of secondary branches, pods/plant, seeds/pod, and seed size in hybrids had direct positive effects in determining yield. Among hybrids only the number of pods/plant was positively associated with seed yield. date: 2013 date_type: published publication: Electronic Journal of Plant Breeding volume: 4 number: 1 publisher: Indian Society of Plant Breeders pagerange: 1086-1089 refereed: TRUE issn: 0975-928X official_url: https://be104edb-a-62cb3a1a-s-sites.googlegroups.com/site/ejpb2011/vol-4-1/EJPB_V4_N1_1086-1089.pdf related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=%22Character+association+between+seed+yield+and+component+traits+among+CMS-based+pigeonpea+hybrids%22&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5 related_url_type: pub citation: Mudaraddi, B and Saxena, K B (2013) Character association between seed yield and component traits among CMS-based pigeonpea hybrids.
