six Mandal and the project was implemented from 1998-2003 to treat 15000 ha with&#13;
watershed development.&#13;
1. One of the main objectives of DPAP IV was to minimize the adverse effects of drought&#13;
on production of crops and livestock and productivity of land, water and human&#13;
resources. In the inception stage 10 of the selected sixteen watershed villages for impact&#13;
assessment took up Entry Point Activity (EPA) that ensured community participation&#13;
and awareness about the watershed project by providing support of funds for drinking&#13;
