It is adapted to low-input rainfed cultivation. In trials in zone V in 1985-88 it gave pod yields of 1.2-2.6 t/ha and seed yields of 0.85-2.05 t/ha, exceeding the standards by an average of 30 and 36\%, respectively. ICGV87141 is a Virginia bunch, decumbent variety, 17.5 cm tall, with a growth period of 120 days in the rainy season. It is tolerant of mid-season drought and bud necrosis. Its shelling percentage is 73\%. Seeds are tan coloured, have a 100-seed weight of 44 g and contain 43\% oil and 20\% protein. The oil has an oleic/linoleic acid ratio of 1.69.} }
