It is about 35 cm tall, profusely branching, matures in 100 days and is resistant to Fusarium oxysporum race 1. It has a 100-seed weight of 26.6 g, and produced a seed yield of 2.3 t/ha at the ICRISAT Centre under rainfed conditions.
