The hymenopterous parasites Campoletis chlorideae, Enicospilus sp., Eriborus argenteopilosus and Microchelonus curvimaculatus [Chelonus curvimaculatus] and the tachinids Carcelia illota, Goniophthalmus halli, Sturmiopsis inferens and Palexorista solennis were reared from both noctuids. A greater percentage of larvae of H. armigera were parasitized in fields of safflower on its own than in those that were intercropped, and a greater percentage of larvae of this host were parasitized than of H. peltigera. date: 1985 date_type: published publication: Insect Science and its Application volume: 6 number: 6 publisher: International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology, Nairobi, Kenya pagerange: 701-704 refereed: TRUE issn: 0191-9040 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?hl=en&q=allintitle%3A+%22Heliothis+species+and+their+larval+parasitoids+on+sole+and+intercrop+safflower+in+India.%22&btnG=Search&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_ylo=&as_vis=0 related_url_type: org citation: Pawar, C S and Bhatnagar, V S and Jadhav, D R (1985) Heliothis species and their larval parasitoids on sole and intercrop safflower in India.
