The hymenopterous parasites Campoletis chlorideae, Enicospilus sp., Eriborus argenteopilosus and Microchelonus curvimaculatus [Chelonus curvimaculatus] and the tachinids Carcelia illota, Goniophthalmus halli, Sturmiopsis inferens and Palexorista solennis were reared from both noctuids. A greater percentage of larvae of H. armigera were parasitized in fields of safflower on its own than in those that were intercropped, and a greater percentage of larvae of this host were parasitized than of H. peltigera. publisher: International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology, Nairobi, Kenya date: 1985 type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: en identifier: http://oar.icrisat.org/4957/1/Insect_Sci_Appilc_6_6_%20701-704_1985.pdf identifier: Pawar, C S and Bhatnagar, V S and Jadhav, D R (1985) Heliothis species and their larval parasitoids on sole and intercrop safflower in India.
