BK 560 increased linearly with temp. (10-34°C) and declined to zero at 45-47°. Other developmental processes such as leaf and spikelet initiation and tillering had a similar response to temp. increases. The leaf extension rate was also a linear function of temp. up to 34°, thus below this the time required to form a complete canopy decreased with increasing temp. The amount of DM produced/unit of intercepted radiation appears to be conservative at about 2.4 g/MJ for mean air temp.of 20-36°","1985","published",,"Field Crops Research","11","2-3","Elsevier",,"141-160",,,,,,,,,,,"TRUE",,"0378-4290",,,,,,"","http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/0378-4290(85)90098-X","http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Response+of+pearl+millet+to+light+and+temperature&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdtp=on&as_sdtf=&as_sdts=5&hl=en","author",,"","",,,,,,"",,,,,,,"",,,,,"",,,,,"","",,,,,"","",,,,,
