The disease was observed at several locations in Zimbabwe during 1985-87. Limited observations suggest that the disease is potentially important. This is the first report of B. urochloae attacking P. americanum date: 1990 date_type: published publication: Plant Disease volume: 74 number: 11 publisher: American Phytopathological Society pagerange: 931-932 refereed: TRUE issn: 0191-2917 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1094/PD-74-0931 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Brown+leaf+spot+of+pearl+millet+caused+by+Bipolaris+urochloae+in+Zimbabwe+&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdtp=on&as_sdtf=&a related_url_type: author citation: Singh, S D and de Milliano, W A J and Mtisi, E and Chingombe, P (1990) Brown leaf spot of pearl millet caused by Bipolaris urochloae in Zimbabwe.
