Detailed statistics of farming practice are difficult to obtain, but it has been estimated that 95% of the groundnuts in Nigeria and 56% in Uganda are grown as mixtures with other crops (Okigbo and Greenland 1976). In the Northern Guinea Savanna Zone of Nigeria, Kassam (1976) reported that only about 16% of the total area under groundnut was in sole croppingwhile about 70% was in 2-4 crop mixtures.","1980","published",,,,,,,"133-142",,"Proceedings of the International Workshop on Groundnuts","ICRISAT Center Patancheru, India","13-17 October 1980","workshop",,,,,,"TRUE",,,,,,,,"",,"http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Groundnut+in+intercropping+systems&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdtp=on&as_sdtf=&as_sdts=5&hl=en","author",,"","",,,,,,"",,,,,,,"",,,,,"",,,,,"","",,,,,"","",,,,,
