There was significant variation among genotypes for grain fresh and dry weights and moisture contents at all sampling times, and at 40 days after anthesis percentage water uptake ranged from 3 to 37%. Variation in electrical conductivity of grain leachates was greater than for water uptake. Some genotypes could germinate only 10-15 days after anthesis while others would only germinate after 30-35 days. date: 1985 date_type: published publication: Seed science and technology volume: 13 number: 1 publisher: International Seed Testing Association pagerange: 27-35 refereed: TRUE issn: 0251-0952 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?hl=en&q=allintitle%3A+Studies+on+germinability+and+some+aspects+of+pre-harvest+physiology+of+sorghum+grain&btnG=Search&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_ylo=&as_vis=0 related_url_type: author citation: Maiti, R K and Raju, P S and Bidinger, F R (1985) Studies on germinability and some aspects of pre-harvest physiology of sorghum grain.
