Results obtained with the above procedures were compared with (d) the standard microKjeldahl procedure. Results obtained with (a), (b) and (c) were highly correlated with those from (d). The standard error of (c) was high compared with (a) and (b). The possible interference of seed-coat pigments and the effects of flour particle size and time of shaking on the results from (b) and (c) were also studied date: 1980 date_type: published publication: Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture volume: 31 number: 3 publisher: John Wiley & Sons pagerange: 247-254 refereed: TRUE issn: 0022-5142 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/jsfa.2740310306 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Evaluation+of+rapid+methods+for+the+estimation+of+protein+in+chickpea+%28Cicer+arietinum+L.%29&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&a related_url_type: author citation: Singh, U and Jambunathan, R (1980) Evaluation of rapid methods for the estimation of protein in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.).
