<mods:mods version="3.3" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.loc.gov/mods/v3 http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/v3/mods-3-3.xsd" xmlns:mods="http://www.loc.gov/mods/v3" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><mods:titleInfo><mods:title>Effect of single, double, and multiple strains of Rhizobium on nodulation of a kabuli-type chickpea</mods:title></mods:titleInfo><mods:name type="personal"><mods:namePart type="given">R</mods:namePart><mods:namePart type="family">Islam</mods:namePart><mods:role><mods:roleTerm type="text">author</mods:roleTerm></mods:role></mods:name><mods:abstract>Inoculation of chickpea seed with Rhizobium strain IC 26 or Ca 7 produced more nodules/plant than inoculation with strain 3827 or 2-component mixtures of the 3 strains; nodules/plant were the highest with the 3-component mixture of these strains. There was no significant difference in dry wt. of nodules/plant when seeds were inoculated with a single strain or 2-3 strains.
