There was no significant difference in dry wt. of nodules/plant when seeds were inoculated with a single strain or 2-3 strains. Inoculation with Ca 7 and Ca 7 + IC 26 gave the highest seed yields of 2.33 t/ha, compared with 1.8 t without inoculation.
