Ten-day-old seedlings were inoculated with 10-day-old inoculum. The plants were observed for 30 days after inoculation, temperature within the greenhouse ranging from 16-31°C and humidity from 40-54.5%. The maximum mortality (100%) due to stem rot was observed when the inoculum was spread on the soil surface and covered with organic matter. It was concluded this is the best method for screening for resistance to S. rolfsii under greenhouse conditions. date: 1994 date_type: published publication: International Arachis Newsletter volume: 14 publisher: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics pagerange: 23-24 refereed: FALSE issn: 1010-5824 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Development+of+a+Greenhouse+Screening+Technique+for+Stem+Rot+Resistance+in+Groundnut&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdtp=on& related_url_type: author citation: Pande, S and Rao, J N and Reddy, M V and McDonald, D (1994) Development of a Greenhouse Screening Technique for Stem Rot Resistance in Groundnut.
