The Guide to Agricultural Production published by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA 1991) provides guidelines to improve productivity in a wide range of crops. This brochure is meant as a complement to the Guide, for use by extension workers, NGO farm advisors, and anyone interested in expanding the range of options for farmers. It describes a number of low-cost options suitable for the resource-poor smallholder farmer, who cannot always afford the recommended fertilizer rates. date: 2000 publisher: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics pages: 28 related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Cost-effective+soil+fertility+management+options+for+smallholder+farmers+in+Malawi&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdtp=on&as related_url_type: author citation: ICRISAT, - and MAI, - (2000) Cost-Effective Soil Fertility Management Options for Smallholder Farmers in Malawi.
