In the first experiment there was no relationship between insect density and grain mass per plant. In the second experiment there was also no direct relationship between initial insect density and pod damage at harvest, but there was a strong relationship between percentage damage by H. armigera and the mean dry mass of the plants. date: 1990 publication: International Chickpea Newsletter volume: 22 pagerange: 29-30 refereed: TRUE related_url_url: http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?as_q=Relationships+between+Pod-Borer+Density+and+Yield+Loss+in+Chickpea%3A+One+Season%27s+Data&num=10&btnG=Search+Scholar&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_occt=title&as_sauthors=&as_publication=&as_ylo=&as_yhi=&as_sdt=1.&as_sdt related_url_type: author citation: Sehgal, V K and Rao, V R and Wightman, J A (1990) Relationships between Pod-Borer Density and Yield Loss in Chickpea: One Season's Data.
