In the first experiment {\ensuremath{<}}10\% yield loss was recorded in lines showing a disease rating of 2-4, 16\% in lines with rating 5, 26-27\% in lines with rating 6-7, and {\ensuremath{>}}80\% in lines with rating 8-9. In the second experiment, lines with a rating of {$\leq$}4 showed a max. 12\% yield loss, while susceptible line ILC 1929, with rating 9, showed almost 100\% loss. In both experiments, the yields of the susceptible lines were higher than those of lines with a rating of {\ensuremath{<}}4 under disease free conditions.} }
