These studies were under the National Agricultural Technology Project, 'Aflatoxin contamination in groundnut: mapping and management in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and adjoining areas'. The studies presented include survey of aflatoxin awareness among farmers, traders, and oil millers; pod and soil sampling for investigation of seed infection and soil contamination by Aspergillus flavus; and determination of aflatoxin contamination under market conditions.
