India. Relationships between stay-green, grain yield and yield components were investigated. Grain yield under post-anthesis stress conditions was correlated with grain number and, to a lesser extent, grain size. Grain number was correlated with green leaf area at anthesis. The stay-green trait was associated with higher leaf N status and transpiration efficiency. publisher: International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics date: 1999 type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: en identifier: http://oar.icrisat.org/1778/1/ISMN40_31-34_1999.pdf identifier: Borrell, A K and Bidinger, F R and Sunitha, K (1999) Stay-Green Trait Associated with Yield in Recombinant Inbred Sorghum Lines Varying in Rate of Leaf Senescence.
