At each location, experiments were conducted in á-lattice design with two replications. Significant genotypicdifferenceswere observedforallthe charactersexcept seeds/pod and 100-seed weight, suggesting differential responses of genotypes to the environmental changes. The results showedthat parents ‘HPL24–63’, ‘ICP3963’,‘ICPA2043’, ‘PHULE T-00-4-11-6-2’ and ‘ICP 10934’ exhibited general stability for grain yield. The stability analysis further revealed that thehybrids ‘ICPA2043 ×ICPL20106’and‘ICPA2047 × ICPL 20106’ were stable for days to flower, days to maturity, pods/plant, pod weight/plant and yield/plant; while hybrids ‘ICPA2092×AKT9913’and‘ICPA2092× BSMR203’exhibited stability for grain yield/plant, plant height, pods/plant and pod weight/plant.Grainyieldinthe hybridswaspositivelyassociated with pods/plant, pod weight/plant and seeds/pod in all the four locations. publisher: Indian Society of Pulses Research and Development date: 2011 type: Article type: PeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: en identifier: http://oar.icrisat.org/1533/1/JouOfFoodLegumes24_3_184-193_2011.pdf identifier: Sawargaonkar, S L and Saxena, K B and Madrap, I A and Rathore, A (2011) Stability analysis of yield and related traits in pigeonpea hybrids.
