TY - CHAP N2 - Soil health mapping in the state of Odisha aimed at improving crop productivity and thereby the rural livelihoods of those depending on the agrarian economy. The activity began with the collection of 40,265 representative soil samples using stratified random sampling across 30 districts. This was a first of its kind, systematic exercise aimed at diagnosing soil fertility- related constraints in the state in order to ascertain macro and micronutrient deficiencies and develop practical recommendations for scaling-out.
