%X Soil sampling is one of the most important prerequisites to implement site-specific nutrient management.  It is also the weakest link in the whole chain of soil test-based nutrient management. A small quantity of  soil (about 500 g) collected should truly represent the millions of tons of soil in a field. Hence, utmost care  should be taken during collection to secure accurate results
