	bibo:abstract "Groundnut Rosette Disease (GRD)\r\nis the major challenge to groundnut\r\nproduction in Malawi. Many old varieties are\r\nsusceptible to GRD, with a complete yield\r\nloss under severe disease. Yet groundnut\r\nis a major source of income and food.\r\nGovernment’s Department of Agricultural\r\nResearch Services, in partnership with\r\nICRISAT, have in the recent past released\r\nseven new varieties (CG 8, CG 9, CG 10, CG\r\n11, CG 12, CG 13 and CG 14), to improve\r\ngroundnut productivity.\r\nIrish Aid funded Malawi Seed Industry\r\nDevelopment Project (MSIDP), has been\r\nbulking seed of these new varieties for\r\ngrain production. Starting in the 2019-2020\r\ncropping season, seed companies will begin\r\nrolling out CG 9 and CG 11 to farmers."^^xsd:string;
