"Sorghum is a major cereal crop globally with\r\neconomically important uses such as food, feed, fodder, fuel,\r\nand fiber. Crop improvement and precision breeding can be\r\nachieved by understanding and utilizing the variability in\r\nsorghum germplasm collection. A total of 242 germplasm\r\naccessions of sorghum minicore were assessed for the extent\r\nof variability, trait associations and genetic diversity.\r\nSorghum minicore collection was evaluated for agronomic\r\ntraits in two post-rainy seasons at ICRISAT- Patancheru,\r\nIndia. Large variability was observed for agronomic traits\r\nand strong associations between the traits studied. The 242\r\nminicore accessions were grouped into six clusters under a\r\nhierarchical dendrogram.
