bibo:abstract "Neem proved as effective oviposition deterrent on chickpea foliage\r\nunder cage studies. The antifeedant effect of neem was also proved under\r\nchoice and no choice situations in laboratory. Neem produced several\r\nabnormalities in H.armigera like mortality during larval stage, increased larval\r\nand pupal duration, reduced pupal weight, reduced effective oviposition\r\nperiod and fecundity when treated at larval stages, but these effects were\r\nmore pronounced on early stages of larvae than later stages. However it\r\nhad no effect on egg hatchability. Robin blue 1% proved to be a go'od\r\nultraviolet ray protectant and increased the persistence of HaNPV up to six\r\ndays under field conditions. HaNPV was found to have more impact on\r\nearly stages of larvae than later stages. In addition to high larval mortality\r\nit was found to produce several ill effects on H.armigera.........."^^xsd:string;
