Sudan is the largest country in Africa, covers an area of 2.5 million sq. kms., equivalent to 250 million hactares. The cultivated area amounts to seven million hectares. However, conservative estimates are that about 35 million hactares is suitable for crop production, 60 million hectare, for range land and 30 million hectares for forests...
