Abstract

On rainfed lands at Rajendranagar and Patanchrru, both in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (Linn.)Moench.] sjowed a marked response to applied N both under sole cropping and intercropplng with pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (Linn.) Millsp.] or greengram [Vigna rodiata (Linn.) Wilczek] but the response decreased with an increase in the N level (0.40 and 80 kg/ha)...
