Abstract
Harnessing Improved Pulse Production and Protection Technology (IPPPT) in the Rainfed Rice Fallow Lands (RRFL) of Chhattisgarh (CG) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) is the overall objective of the project. In earlier investigations Chickpea was identified as the most suitable pulse that can successfully be grown in the RRFL, hence chosen as a candidate crop to be promoted in selected districts and villages of RRFL of CG and MP using IPPPT.
