    Abstract

    ICGS35 was selected from a natural hybrid population of the Indian cultivar Robut 33-1 (Kadiri 3) and released in the Korea Republic as Jinpungtangkong in 1986. In trials at Patancheru in 1980-83, pod yields averaged 5.6 t/ha in the post-rainy season and 2.5 t/ha in the rainy season, exceeding Robut 33-1 by 14%. In trials at several sites in the Korea Republic during 1982-86 it outyielded local cultivars by 15-32%. It is early maturing and has an oil content of 53%.
